Wow this is a really nice place for some Mediterranean food. We ordered some wraps, salad and a vegetarian combo. The food was tasty. The quantity for the wraps were average but the veg combo was much more then required for an average person.I'm not a huge fan of wraps coz of the tortillas but these tortillas were very good. The falafal inside the wraps had a right balance in terms of spice and quantity.The hummus and baba gaboush were pretty decent but I should say very good for the price. I'm very satisfied overall and would come again.

Good middle-east food restaurant. Portions are pretty generous and flavourful. The place is not that big so they don't have that many seats, and definitely you cannot fit a group larger than 4 people. Prices are decent and service is fast.

Awesome middle eastern food and quick service

Taboun is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The servings are generous and everything is well priced. The sides are all delicious (especially the hummus and taboun salad) and the lamb-beef shawarma is THE BEST. They pay a lot of attention to the food they are preparing and I enjoy coming back to the restaurant often.

Everything about this place is top notch. Service - family owned restaurant, and they care very much about you having a good experience. They went above and beyond to welcome us to the neighborhood. They were fast, friendly, and attentive to requests.Food - some of the best falafels, hummus, and babaganoush ive had. I ordered the vegetarian combo and it was huge portions and everything was so tasty, full of flavor... I had 2 meals in one! Ambiance - cute little restaurant, welcoming and warm décore, with enough space for groups of 2 to 6. I came with my family, and we all enjoyed the entire experience. This will be a staple restaurant for us. Will go back often!

The food is great. Limited selections but everything is worthy the price. Staff is always friendly and they prepare the food quickly. Everything is always served fresh.

This is a solid choice -- you get a fair amount of food for the price. With a dinner plate ($18), you'll be able to feed 1.5 to 2 people. The service is incredibly good, and the food itself is above standard. I'd definitely come here again if I'm in the neighborhood!

I love this place because it feels like part of the community. I always get the veggie plate and have been happy with it. There are also a couple tables outside if you bring your dog.

Amazing food, atmosphere, portions and vibes. We had a group of 4 come in and each meal we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere and decorations in the place are really nice. The portions are big, we had leftovers to bring home. I will be back and would recommend this place for any lover of Mediterranean style food. The owners also own the cute market store next door.

My preferred location for tasty Mediterranean food. Staff is always super even when they have a full house. Prices are appropriate for the quality. This place has great reviews for a reason.

Taboun has an interesting selection of Mediterranean entrees, sides, and drinks. The meat dishes are well-spiced and tasty. The lighter sides balance out the heaviness of the entrees. Taboun has an eclectic drinks cooler containing everything from wine samples and beer to low sugar colas and juices.

Best hummus in town, friendly service, delicious affordable middle eastern cuisine.

I happen to visit this place in third week of June, 2018, with my family. I've yet to see a better place than this. The meal was served well, every detail was taken care of. The food was yummy and best of all my kids, who generally don't anything outside, enjoyed every bit of it. A must visit in San Fransisco.

Stopped in for lunch - typical Turkish style Mediterranean in that the sandwich was served in a lavash. Get the spicy sauce.

1st time visit, never return, ordered lamb shawarma wrap, I asked what comes inside to find there's just vegis and tehini, no other spread, was told hummus will be extra.I decided to pay the extra, cant have it without.I got the wrap fairly quick, but that's about the only thing I can say was positive .Very small portion of meat compared to the size of the wrap, mainly filled with cucumber salad , in addition to meat was dry and lacking flavor. This lunch cost me 15dollars with a bottle of sparkling water , definitely over priced.

Came to this place to grab a quick bite for lunch. Family owned business, the workers are really friendly and nice. The food wasn't all that pricey because they do serve you really big portions. And it taste pretty damn good too. I would come back for sure.

Large portions, quick takeout. The lamb shawarma was great, juicy meat with lots of flavor, a delicious sauce, and solid texture from the veggies. Will definitely be ordering from here again
